What I’m learning… When God gives you a dream, it often means cultivating new habits…..and fresh faith!

It’s usually something that takes work right? It takes becoming a SME (subject matter expert) in that thing. A new faith for that invitation ummm I’ve never thought about it that way but I love it.

“It takes becoming a SME…” I love that, Laverne….yes! That’s where I am, learning and soaking in the subject matter. Definitely takes work! May the Lord bless the work of our hands.

Great message, Kim. Yes, He does show up every time. We just have to trust and believe.

Kim, Kim, Kim!! This blessed me so much! This right here > “When God is calling you into a new thing, you have to build new habits and new disciplines.” Woooooo weeeeee that was good to me! It is the reason why I have not finished book number two and well, other things I’ve stopped. That was powerful for me, Kim. You also talked about fresh faith. We go from faith to faith and that means following Him step by step. It’s the following, doing and trusting that build it. (I’m preaching to myself!) This post brings to mind a scripture I like in the New Living Translation Proverbs 20:24 “The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?” When I read this, it assures me that He helps and I don’t have to try to figure it all out before I make the first move. Thank you!

Tamara, I LOVE that this series is resonating with you and motivating you to do what the Lord has put on your heart to do! “It’s the following, doing and trusting that build [faith]”…..yes, yes! I have to preach that to myself as well! And THIS -> “I don’t have to try to figure it all out before I make the first move”….not even possible! So you may as well take the step the Lord gives you, wait for the next and take that one, and so on and so on…..and before you know it, you are WAY down the path. I’m excited for you and where this path will lead. May the Lord establish those new habits and new disciplines! :)
